Humidifier Maintenance
To maintain your humidifier, remove the humidifier from the humidor. Use a humidification solution or distilled water and squirt it into the humidifier through the grate. You should not overfill the humidifier. It should be wet but not soaking. Take a cloth and wipe any excess liquid from the front of the humidifier and reattach it back onto the humidor. A good rule of thumb is that distilled water increases humidity, solution decreases it. The humidity in homes varies from location and time of year so keep that in mind when maintaining your humidifier and trying to achieve the right humidity for your humidor.
